Sustainability Analysis is a feature from Oxceed designed to simplify and support companies in their sustainability analysis efforts. Through this feature, companies can view and analyze their climate impact based on the company’s accounting data.

Extended Sustainability Analysis offers a more detailed view of your company’s climate impact at both the category and supplier levels, enabling more targeted actions to reduce emissions.

With insights into up to 80 subcategories within main categories and data from the past 12 months, Extended Sustainability Analysis helps companies prioritize and take action to reduce their carbon footprint.

In addition to the detailed category analysis, Extended Sustainability Analysis also includes a supplier analysis that presents the monthly emissions of all suppliers. This allows the company to actively influence and choose suppliers based on their carbon emissions.

Sustainability Analysis in Oxceed offers companies simplicity and efficiency by automatically importing accounting data to calculate climate impact. Additionally, companies can easily share sustainability data with stakeholders who require sustainability reporting from their suppliers.

The climate calculations are done automatically based on the company’s accounting data. The technology that enables this automation comes from GoClimate, an impact company specializing in creating sustainable solutions to combat climate change.

In Sustainability Analysis, the following KPIs are measured to provide a comprehensive view of your company’s climate impact:

  • Emissions for the month
  • Emissions per employee for the month
  • Emissions per category per month (Rolling 12)
  • Emissions per category for the month (Pie chart)
  • Accumulated emissions compared to 4 different emission types (flights, trains, hamburgers, vegan hamburgers)
  • Accumulated emissions
  • Accumulated emissions per employee
  • Rolling 12-month accumulated emissions
  • Accumulated emissions for the Top 7 suppliers
  • Accumulated emissions per Scope 1-2-3

These KPIs provide a detailed and versatile analysis of the company’s climate impact over different time periods, categories, and comparisons.

The challenges in sustainability tracking can be divided into two main categories: legal requirements and external expectations, as well as time-consuming and costly processes for initiating sustainability measurements.

Companies of a certain size are legally required to conduct sustainability reporting, and new EU directives have tightened the requirements, including more companies. Additionally, expectations from customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders are increasing, making sustainability reporting even more important.

With new EU directives, sustainability reporting is becoming a requirement for large companies and their suppliers. A lack of sustainability efforts can lead to lost business opportunities and negative impacts on the company’s reputation and relationships with stakeholders.

Sustainability reporting standards such as NSRS or ESG are legally regulated. Oxceed’s Sustainability Analysis focuses on providing an overview based on the company’s accounting data.
